Bruce A. Ward is a Certified Physician Assistant who has lived in Fayetteville since 1985. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science from Methodist University, worked as a Clinical Medicine Instructor for one year and then entered into the Physician Assistant training program at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Mr. Ward served his country in military service in various capacities receiving multiple citations and awards for exceptional performance of duty. During his time at Fort Bragg, he worked at the Special Operations Medical Training Center as a senior instructor for 4 years. After serving for 20 years in the U.S. Army, he retired from military service and, for the next 7 years, provided oversight and direct interaction in health clinics for the Department of State as a contractor in Eastern Europe and Iraq.
Mr. Ward is married to a pediatric nurse. They live happily in N. Fayetteville. They have one daughter and two grandchildren. Mr. Ward shares in four generations of family ancestry living in Fayetteville representing 3 branches of Military Service. He has been a Christian since 1979, and he and his wife attend Mana Church of Fayetteville. He anxiously anticipates participating in the care of children in our community of Dunn and from the surrounding counties as part of the ABC Pediatrics’ Health Care Team.
