Thanks to our awesome ABC Family of parents and patients and staff, ABC Pediatrics has been voted Best Pediatric Clinic for a 7th year in a row!
Mental Health Services
ABC Pediatrics’ provides diagnosis and treatment of mental health and behavioral issues. Our health care team recognizes the significant need for pediatric mental health care and continuously embraces Mental Health Awareness. The well respected health care team at ABC Pediatrics would not be complete without our mental health department.
Breastfeeding Services at ABC Pediatrics
ABC Pediatrics provides breastfeeding counseling services at preventive care visits and on an as needed basis. Breastfeeding mothers will meet with our Board Certified Lactation Consultant at the first visit after being discharged from the hospital, at every well visit from birth until 1 year of age, and on an as needed basis for questions or concerns that arise between visits.
Vaccines and Immunizations
ABC Pediatrics provides all routine vaccinations and immunizations for your child from birth, through grade school, and including college entrance requirements. Immunization records are kept securely in your child’s Electronic Medical Record and are also recorded at the North Carolina State Immunization Registry.
Allergy Testing at ABC Pediatrics
If you currently use over-the-counter and prescription allergy relief medications, you know that they can have uncomfortable side effects. You also know that they don’t address the underlying cause of your symptoms.
Asthma Management
ABC Pediatrics’ provides asthma management services to Harnett County and surrounding areas. We are capable of providing in-depth testing, analysis and monitoring of our asthma patients’ lung status by use of quick and painless spirometry. With spirometry, a patient exhales quickly into a device.
In Office Laboratory
Our laboratory is COLA and CLIA certified. Our laboratory personnel perform measurements and testing daily on all of our testing modalities to ensure that only the most accurate and reliable results are obtained when our lab reports out patient results.

Hurricane Idalia Updates
We will be operating on a delayed schedule on Thursday, August 31st. Opening at 10am and emergency service is available at 910.892.1333

We provide all of the services customary with an office of our size, to include in-office laboratory testing, allergy testing, allergy and routine immunizations. However, in addition to these services, our providers also specialize in asthma management, management of behavioral issues, including ADHD, and wellness care with weight management, dietary guidance, exercise guidance and weight training guidance.

Breastfeeding is never “All or Nothing”

Breastfeeding doesn’t always go according to how you planned. Maybe you planned to latch only and didn’t want to pump but found latch was difficult and you had to pump. Perhaps there was a birth trauma and the baby wasn’t able to latch and you had to pump to establish production. What if medical complications required supplementation? You may have returned to work earlier than you planned. Whatever the reason, it’s important to understand that breastfeeding doesn’t have to be “all or nothing.”
