Dr. Vincent M. Chiodo grew up in Follansbee, WV. He graduated Cum Laude and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from West Virginia University in 1982. He worked as a Research Medical Technologist and supervised an Infectious Diseases Research Lab for three years before going to medical school. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from West Virginia University in 1989.
Dr. Mary Ann Chiodo is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate work at the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1989. Dr. Chiodo completed her residency in Pediatrics at West Virginia University Hospital in 1992. She and her husband, Vincent M. Chiodo, M.D. established ABC Pediatrics of Dunn, PA in April, 1994.
Ms. Gloria J. Jordan is a Certified Physician Assistant who was born in Roseboro, North Carolina and grew up in rural Sampson County. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1970. She also received her certification as a Medical Technologist through ASCP in 1971.
Mrs. Rhonda C. Torchio was born and raised in Roseboro, North Carolina. She attended Campbell University for her undergraduate work from 2001 to 2005. While attending Campbell University, Mrs. Torchio worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at ABC Pediatrics. In 2005, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Campbell University with a minor in Chemistry.
Mrs. Veronica Romero is a Certified Physician Assistant who was born in Mexico City, Mexico. When she was three years old, her family immigrated to Los Angeles, California. In 1990, she completed her Bio-Psychology degree at El Camino College in Torrance, California. She traveled across the country to North Carolina in 1994 and began working for ABC Pediatrics.
Robert E. Deckert is a Certified Physician Assistant from Venice, Florida. Prior to obtaining his medical education, he was an active member of the United States Army for twenty years. Mr. Deckert was a Senior Instructor for The Special Operations Medical Training Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina as well as a Senior Supervisory Medical Sergeant for the United States Army in Okinawa, Japan.
Margaret Elisabeth “Lis” West, PCP-BC is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the Cumberland County Autism Society.
Kayla R. Tyndall, PA-C was born and raised in Dunn, NC. She graduated from Campbell University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She completed her Physician Assistant training at Campbell University, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and graduated in 2013 with a Master’s of Physician Assistant Practice degree.
Mrs. Sherlene E. Blackwood, MSN, RN, FNP was born and raised in Dunn, North Carolina. She began her career in the healthcare field as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. She also provided care in two local nursing homes.
